Loans grid view

New loans are added in this view and they are displayed from oldest to newest. You can edit some information straight on the grid by clicking on the cell. Other information is editable in the loan fact sheet only which you can access by clicking on the loan number.

Use the grid view for filtering, quick fixes, exporting and deleting the loans created by mistake.

Adding columns to the grid

In the grid view you are able to see the default columns of your loans. You can add more columns by clicking on the hamburger icon and selecting the fields you want to visualize in the grid.

Content of the grid

TITLE

DESCRIPTION

Loan number

Number given by a financing institute or a bank; click on it to access the loan fact sheet.

Financing institute/bank

Change the financing institute / bank that has issued the loan

Subject(s) of the loan

Showing the subject(s) of the loan; portfolio, property, unit, building and/or plot

Loan sum

Edit the initial sum of the loan 

Loan identifier

Edit the internal identifier of the loan. ID is set by the user.

Loan status

Change the status of the loan to Applied, Repayment or Paid.

Options are set in the Settings > Loans

Borrower

Change the company that has taken the loan; it can be a parent company or a housing/property company.

  • Existing companies (contacts) are found in the drop down menu.
  • New companies (contacts) are added in a pop-up when adding a new loan or via Contacts main view.

Company

Change the company that administers the loan; it can also be a group company.

  • Existing companies (contacts) are found in the drop down menu.
  • New companies (contacts) are added in a pop-up when adding a new loan or via Contacts main view.

Additional Information

Describe the loan in general, free text field

Money Guarantee

Edit the amount of money for collateral

Additional Securities

Describe other securities e.g. rental income, free text field

Collateral type

Change the type of collateral used for the loan.

Options are set in the Settings > Loans

Deposit

Edit the initial investment paid by the investor

Description

Information about the loan

Balance

You can check the loan balance, but you can't edit it in the grid view.

To edit the balance, click on the loan number > Terms tab, Loan details

Loan type

Change the type of loan: Fixed installment, flat-rate, bullet or annuity.

Options are set in the Settings > Loans

Repayment

Edit the repayment amount agreed in the loan agreement (excl. bullets where the value is added to the repayment schedule)

Repayment schedule

Edit the interval of loan payments in months (excl. bullets)

For bullets, click on the loan number > Terms tab, Loan details

Loan start date

Edit the date the loan was created

Loan end date

Edit the loan expiration date

Interest %

You can check the interest, but you can't edit it in the grid view.

To edit the interest, click on the loan number > Terms tab, Loan details

Interest type

Change the interest type, e.g. Euribor 12

Options are set in the Settings > Loans

Margin %

You can check the margin percentage, but you can't edit it in the grid view.

To edit the margin, click on the loan number > Terms tab, Loan details

Total %

You can check the total percentage, but you can't edit it in the grid view.

To edit the total %, click on the loan number > Terms tab, Loan details

Fixed interest end date

Set the date until which the fixed interest rate is agreed

Initial administration fee

Give the amount of the initial fee paid to the bank for managing the loan

Monthly servicing cost

Give the amount of monthly fee paid to the bank for managing the loan

Start date of the period

Shows the start date for the repayment period

End date of the period

Shows the end date for the repayment period

Interest

Shows the amount of interest for the repayment period

Total payment

Shows the amount paid for the period

Final payment (residual value)

Give the final payment amount of the loan  

Number of interest days

The number of days used for the interest. Depending on a company, it can be 360, 365 or also 145 in some cases. Essential for interest management.
