Valuations and Book Values

Adding the values of your property to Assetti will increase your understanding of its benefits and trajectory. Every property should have at least one value so that all KPIs and metrics can be calculated correctly. 

Valuations 

You are able to add or edit valuation types as follows:

• Click your user name in the upper right corner of the screen and select Settings.
• Select Property and Valuation type.
  • Add new type with ADD button OR
  • Edit an existing type by clicking it.
• Save.

Valuations are found from the Info tab of the property; just scroll down to the bottom of the screen. 

Book Values

You can find book values in the summary section of Plot and Building, which shows the most recent book values.

Only the most recent book value, based on the date of the book values across all assets in the property, is shown. If a plot’s book value is newer than a building’s, the building's book value will be empty. 

The type of book value is always ‘book value’. The asset valued can be a property, a building, or a plot. You can add values for the same date for different accounts, i.e. value for Feb. 15, 2020 for the property and building. The book values will be sorted by date and can be deleted in bulk.
